The Morongo Unified School District board of directors will hold a work study session beginning at 5 p.m. to discuss the possible transition to
trustee-area elections. The board will then adjourn to closed session to hold a conference with designated bargaining representatives. In open
session, beginning at 7 p.m., the board will make a final decision on the recommendation of transitioning to district-based elections. The board will also hold a public hearing on the reached agreement on employment status of noon supervisors, review a board policy on firearms on school grounds, and meet the new Miss Yucca Valley 2018 and her court. The meeting will be held at Palm Vista Elementary School, located at 74350 Baseline Road in Twentynine Palms.
