The Morongo Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting On Tuesday, April 7, to discuss further extending school closures due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The board will meet in closed session at 11 a.m. to conference with labor negotiators and legal counsel. In open session, beginning at noon, the board will discuss a resolution that, if adopted, would extend school closures through June 10, the remainder of the school year. Public comment on the topic will be taken from 8 to 10:30 a.m. the day of the meeting.
