The Morongo Unified School District board of education met in open session last night. Here’s reporter Andrew Dieleman with the details…
The MUSD Board of Education began with a work study session to discuss both the financial report for the second half of the fiscal year and the 15-year facilities master plan for the district. The board reviewed future facility changes that will take place based on the district’s future budgets. The board then went into closed session to hold a conference with designated bargaining representatives. In open session, the board confirmed that its current budget will meet all financial obligations for the second half of the fiscal year and unanimously agreed to begin the process of installing more energy-efficient LED lighting at various school locations.
