The Morongo Unified School District Board of Education will hold a special closed-session meeting at 9 a.m. Friday. The first item on the agenda is the discipline/dismissal/release of a public employee. When the board returns to open session, it will discuss how to fill an anticipated vacancy on the board due to the relocation out of the area of Denise Cohen, an at-large member. The meeting will be held in the conference room of district offices, 5715 Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms.
