The board will begin at 6 p.m. in closed session to conference with labor negotiators. In open session at 7 p.m., the board will honor 47 district employees in honor of “classified school employees week” and “day of the teacher,” hold a public hearing on a request to rename the Yucca Valley High School lecture hall in honor of the late John W. Frakes Jr., discuss potential funding for the school facility modernization program, and revise the district’s English learner master plan.
