SCHOOL BOARD HONORS 18 VOCATIONAL STUDENTS

MUSD ROP Students

The MUSD Board of Trustees honored 18 students from the district’s numerous ROP programs at last night’s meeting. Students Browdie Williams, James Grotberg, Alexa Martin, and Angel Ammerman received the 2019 San Bernardino County ROP Student of the Year awards. The board also held a work study session on the district’s local control accountability plan, taking suggestions from the public on how the district can better serve the needs of students and teachers. Popular suggestions included an increase in arts programs, professional development for teachers, school safety plans, and district communication with parents and the public. Lastly, the board approved the transferring of district funds, if needed, for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.
