SCHOOL BOARD DISCUSSES STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT GOALS

At last night’s meeting, the MUSD Board of Trustees held a work study session to discuss the Single Plan for Student Achievement for Morongo Valley, Landers, Yucca Mesa, and Joshua Tree elementary schools. The plans, which are designed to help students reach education goals, include goals for English language arts, writing, mathematics, and health and wellness. In open session, the board ratified the 2018 MUSD high school graduates, adopted the student achievement plans from the work study session, discussed a quote for repainting at Friendly Hills Elementary School, and approved the 2018-2019 school attendance calendar.
