The Morongo Unified School District board of trustees began preliminary discussions on the district’s current class sizes at last night’s regularly scheduled meeting. Reporter Andrew Dieleman has the details…
At last night’s meeting, the MUSD Board of Trustees held a work study session to review a policy on current class sizes within the district. After a lengthy discussion on both student welfare and district funding, the board voted to table the policy again and begin reviewing the district’s budget in an effort to find ways to incrementally decrease class sizes over the next few years. The board also recognized 14 of the district’s “outstanding” bus drivers, marked December 11 as the date for the district’s annual reorganization meeting, and authorized a provisional internship application for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
