The Morongo Unified School District Board of Education is holding a special meeting on Tuesday, May 12. It starts at 5 p.m., at Yucca Valley Elementary School, 7601 Hopi Trail in Yucca Valley. There will be two work/study topics in open session—one on self-evaluation of the Board, and the other on the facility-naming policy. Then there will be a closed session on labor contract bargaining.
