At last night’s meeting, the MUSD Board of Trustees held a work study session to discuss the district’s annual special education compliance review. The board then adjourned to closed session to conference with legal counsel on pending litigation. In open session, the board recognized the accomplishments of 10 students from throughout the district as part of National Disabilities Awareness Month. The board also held a public hearing to confirm the sufficiency of student text books in the district and adopted a resolution to declare the week of October 23-31 as drug-free Red Ribbon Week in the district.
