At last night’s meeting, the MUSD Board of Trustees officially adopted the extension of school closures related to the coronavirus through May 1. Assistant Superintendent Amy Woods reported that the school district is working on transitioning classes to an online classroom platform until the closure ends. The board also approved facilities repairs and updates including asphalt repaving, playground equipment replacement, and repainting at a total of 14 district schools.
The board also approved the 2020-2021 CSEA sunshine agreement, approved three new district textbooks, and approved temporary borrowing between MUSD funds for the 2020-2021 fiscal year.
