The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and San Bernardino County Probation conducted a comprehensive drug and weapon search at Yucca Valley High School yesterday (December 2). Utilizing trained dogs, the operation aimed to detect any illegal substances on school grounds.
The Morongo Unified School District described the search as a “proactive initiative” to maintain a safe, drug-free and weapon-free environment.
The search was carried out with minimal disruption to the school day, and the results will be managed in accordance with District policies and procedures.
