SB County Land Use Services open house this Wednesday (8/30)

San Bernardino County’s Land Use Services Department is holding an open house in Joshua Tree tomorrow afternoon (August 30). From 5 p.m to 7 p.m., representatives from the Department will be on hand to discuss all land use issues, including those related to building services, development and planning services, and code compliance and enforcement.

County Board of Supervisors Chair and local Third District representative discussed the event with Gary Daigneault on the Z107.7 Up Close Show, saying

“People are always asking us, how do we get this road paved, or why don’t we get this road paved. People have disputes with their neighbors about fencing, or putting a gate up in a public road.

These are the number one types of call we get for services or questions is Land Use.

What we decided to do is have our Land Use Services Department, which has a brand new director, Mark Wardlaw, and he’s taking the County Land Use Services Department on the road to basically have an open house. Any questions about permitting, night skies ordinance, anything land use related.”

The meeting begins tomorrow at 5 p.m. at the Land Use Services Office Lobby in the Government Center in Joshua Tree.
