Hosted by the Morongo Basin Sheriff Station, the Morongo Basin will celebrate its fourth annual National Night Out to foster a stronger relationship between officers and members of the community. This event was created to promote police-community partnerships while tightening neighborhood bonds.
This family event will feature free food, drinks, games and activities, plus live music and over 20 vendors on site. In addition to mingling with local public safety personnel, there will also be safety vehicle tours and information on crime prevention.
National Night Out takes place on August 6 at the Yucca Valley Community Center between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
