The Center for Healthy Generations invites you to join their desert beach party-themed mixer. While there won’t be any actual surfing at the event, there will be plenty of sand, and guests can bring their swim suits and take a dip in the warm saltwater pool. Refreshments include $1 mai tais and beer. You could event win $50 in the limbo contest. Bring a new member and you’ll both receive a discount on membership dues. The mixer will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., with swimming at 6:30 p.m. The Center is located at 57121 Sunnyslope Drive in Yucca Valley, just west of La Palapa Mexican restaurant.
