Save the Date for 2025 “Miss Yucca Valley” Scholarship Pageant in February

The Miss Yucca Valley Scholarship Pageant is sponsored by the Yucca Valley Sunset Rotary Club. The Pageant will begin at 6 p.m. February 8th. at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel at 57373 Joshua Lane Yucca Valley. 

Eleven high school juniors are competing to be part of the Miss Yucca Valley court. Saturday’s event is the final stage of a five-month program that focuses on developing essential life skills such as poise, self- worth, and public speaking. These skills will benefit the contestants long after the pageant is over. Each contestant is required to Interview a prominent woman in the community that offers valuable insights and guidance, participate in community events like the Orchid Festival, Chamber Mixer, and Holiday Light Parade which allows the contestants to contribute to their community.

On Saturday, judges will consider the contestants’ communication skills, academic accomplishments, poise, and service projects to select the court. 

The newly crowned Queen will receive a $2000.00 scholarship. 1st Princess a $1500.00 scholarship, 2nd Princess $1000.00, and 3rd Princess $750.00.

The 2024 court members were Queen Rachel Gibbs, First Princess Mackenzie Johnson, Second Princess Jaycee Bradshaw, and third Princess Stephanie Moya.
