SATURDAY EASTER EGG HUNTS IN YUCCA VALLEY, TWENTYNINE PALMS, AND JOSHUA TREE

Easter Egg hunts are scheduled all over our Morongo Basin. Here are tomorrow’s events.

The Town of Yucca Valley will hold its annual Easter egg hunt immediately prior to the start of the Earth Day event tomorrow morning. The egg hunt is for children ages 8 and under. The egg hunt starts at 9 a.m. sharp on the Yucca Valley community center’s softball field. Children should bring their own baskets. 

Freedom Baptist Church in Twentynine Palms will hold an Easter egg hunt 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Luckie Park. Children will be able to hunt for more than 3,000 Easter eggs, and there will be prizes as well. Then on Sunday, join the church for Easter services at 9, 10, and 11:30 a.m. The church provides free transportation for Marines and sailors. Call 760-362-4645. Joshua Tree Park and Recreation will have their 52nd annual Easter Egg hunt Saturday, April 20, starting at 9 a.m. The egg hunt is for kids from toddlers to sixth grade with different hunt areas for six age groups. There will also be pictures with the Easter Bunny and a pancake breakfast. The events Saturday will be at the Joshua tree community center, 6171 Sunburst Road.
