Two events this weekend will benefit local veterans. Vets Cruzin for a Cause/Change For Vets will hold a car/truck/bike wash Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., to raise funeral funds for the family of fallen a Marine. The event will be held at the Change For Vets Thrift Shop located at 5758 Adobe Rd., Suite B in Twentynine Palms. Please come out and support our brothers in arms. All proceeds go directly to the family of the deceased veteran. Food and drinks will be available for purchase
Sunday, enjoy a night of bingo while raising awareness for our local homeless veterans. The Morongo Basin chapter of Vets Cruzin’ For A Cause and Change For Vets will host a Bingo night at the Sportsman’s Club in Joshua Tree. Doors open at 3 p.m. and bingo begins at 4:30 p.m. There will be food, drinks, prizes and live entertainment by 180 Ministries Band. The Sportsman’s Club is located at 6225 Sunburst Ave, Joshua Tree.
