Saturday at Rainbow Stew: Queen bees, microbes for your garden and reincarnation

Rainbow Stew has a full day of programming set for Saturday (January 24).

First up, the High Desert Beekeepers Association meets for their monthly gathering. The topic for January is “Queen Cells By the Thousands,” presented by Steve Clifford, President of the British Columbia Honey Producers Association. They will also discuss beekeeping goals for the new year. They ask that you bring your bee stories and adventures to share. The meeting begins at 12:00 noon.

At 1:00 p.m., herbalist Charla Shamhart holds a workshop on growing microbes for a healthy garden and ecosystem. That workshop begins at 1:00 p.m., with a suggested donation of $10.

At 2:00 p.m., Shamhart will shift gears and teach a class focused no Gnostic Christian Teachers called ‘Stepping off the Reincarnation Wheel.’

All of these events are happening on Saturday at Rainbow Stew, located at 55509 29 Palms Highway in Old Town Yucca Valley.
