SANTA TO TOUCH DOWN IN LANDERS TOMORROW

Folks at Landers first Saturday Open Air Market are making big plans for tomorrow’s expected arrival from the North Pole. Reporter Mike Lipsitz says grab the shopping list, the kids and the camera this special event…

The open-air flea market at Homestead Valley Park in Landers opens at 10 a.m. tomorrow and at 11 a.m. Saint Nick himself arrives to visit with youngsters and jot down items on their wish lists. There will be free candy canes, face painting, plus vendors new and old and Martha will be there with breakfast burritos and her famous frybread. Santa leaves by noon but the market is open until 3 p.m. Homestead Valley Park on Belfield Blvd. between Linn and Reche roads in Landers.
