SANTA TO MAKE A PRE-HOLIDAY STOP AT THE YUCCA VALLEY LIBRARY

Despite rising fuel prices, and by “fuel” we definitely mean hay, Santa’s reindeer will deliver the big guy to the Yucca Valley Library, thanks to a large donation of hay from the Queen of Green, Patty Brown. With the details, here’s reporter Ernest Figueroa…

You can join the Yucca Valley Library on December 18 between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for music, crafts, and books! Parents can bring their cameras for a photo opportunity with Santa and for every item checked out of the library during the event, attendees can earn the chance to win a Grand Prize. Also, the Friends of the Yucca Valley Library has a special selection of books, DVDs, and CDs for purchase. The funds help bring entertainers to the Summer Reading Program, buy all the newspaper subscriptions for the library, and overall provide financial support for the purchase of new books, DVDs, and electronic equipment and updates.
