For the second time this month, complaints have surfaced about an assisted living center in Yucca Valley. A resident near Santa Fe Assisted Living Center found four pages of medication records from the assisted living center against her fence and in her yard. The records are from 2013 and show the names of residents, and in some cases, what medications they are taking. The center’s Care Coordinator, Jennifer Levesque, told Z107.7 News that she had not heard about any medication records flying around the neighborhood prior to our inquiry. In early July, neighbors reported that sewage from the assisting living center was leaking and flowing down the street. Levesque told Z107.7 News that it was not sewage but a water leak and it had been repaired.
