SANTA ANA MAN ARRESTED IN YUCCA VALLEY, ACCUSED OF POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE FOR SALE

A Santa Ana man was arrested in Yucca Valley Monday (August 30), accused of possession of methamphetamine for sale. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Fox Trail and Twentynine Palms Highway around 9 a.m. for an expired registration. Deputies contacted the driver, Dwayne Erickson, 55. During an investigation, Deputies determined Erickson was in possession of methamphetamine. Erickson admitted to deputies that he was transporting the methamphetamine for distribution in Santa Ana. Dwayne Erickson was arrested for investigation of transporting methamphetamine and being in possession of methamphetamine for sale, and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $75,000.
