To foster community discussion on the issue of judicial bias, the San Bernardino Superior Court’s (SBSC) Community Outreach Committee is collaborating with local justice
partners and county officials to host its’ fourth virtual townhall entitled, “Eliminating Bias: What Are We Doing for the Homeless?”
Scheduled for Tuesday, October 19, from noon to 1:15 p.m., the event will feature leaders from the San Bernardino County justice system fostering a dialogue around bias while sharing resource information with the community.
Opening remarks will be provided by Presiding Judge Michael A. Sachs, with moderation by Judge John M. Pacheco and Judge Winston Keh. Panelists include: Judge Ingrid Uhler; 5th District County Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr.; Dr. Veronica Kelley, Director of the Department of Behavioral
Health; Linda Metz, Deputy District Attorney; and Daniel Edber, Deputy Public Defender IV.
