Countywide, seven more people have died and 437 more have been confirmed positive for coronavirus, according to San Bernardino County data released Sunday (July 26). The median age of positive patients is 38, down from 50 three months ago. The number of positive patients in hospitals and ICUs is also up, according to state data.
Here in our Morongo Basin we have 171 confirmed cases: Yucca Valley with 99; Joshua Tree, 29; Twentynine Palms, 22; Morongo Valley, 18; Landers, two; and Pioneertown 1. We have a total of four deaths.
