The “Symposium of Unity and Understanding-Real Race Talk: Opening the Lines of Communication, an Ongoing Dialogue to Equity in Education” is designed to engage participants in an open dialogue focused around the cycles of real race talk and equity in education. The Symposium will be held select Mondays from 6:30-8 p.m. beginning September 28 and willrun through December 14. Registration is free and open to the community and partners in education

“The Cycles of Real Race Talk” will cover Igniting the Conversation, Continuing the Dialogue, Deepening the Understanding, Leaning into Discomfort, Facilitating Difficult Conversations, A Historical Context, and Interrupting Racism.
