San Bernardino County residents get state and federal tax deadline extensions

The start of April traditionally marks tax season for Americans, but residents of San Bernardino County, which includes our Hi-Desert communities, have been provided an extension on filing their taxes owing to March’s winter storms.

The IRS has provided tax aid to several California communities, including San Bernardino County, extending the deadline for filing federal and state tax returns to October 16.

Though our area was not as impacted by heavy snowfall as were our neighboring mountain communities, the deadline extension has been applied county-wide, meaning every tax payer in San Bernardino County can take advantage of the deadline extension.
