SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY READIES CHILD VACCINATIONS

Now that an FDA panel has approved the emergency use of vaccines for children ages 5 to 11, many parents and guardians in San Bernardino County are waiting to hear when the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for kids will become available. Gary Daigneault says the County is getting ready…

The County will keep people and providers aware of when Federal and State Health authorities give final approval to roll out the vaccines. Preparations for the County to vaccinate kids ages 5 to 11 with the Pfizer vaccine have been underway for several weeks. “We know many parents still have questions and concerns about vaccinating their children, which is why we have put together a list of frequently asked questions and facts for them to research on our website,” said Public Health Director Josh Dugas. “As a parent myself, I know having this information in hand is important and will help inform people about the vaccine before they bring their children to get vaccinated.” A link to the County’s COVID-19 pediatric webpage is available below.
