SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY REACHES ONE MILLION REGISTERED VOTERS

For the first time in the history of San Bernardino County, the total number of registered County voters has exceeded one million people. Reporter Andrew Dieleman has the details on this milestone in County voter history…

With the addition of 1,200 newly-registered voters in San Bernardino County during the final week of September, the total number of registered county voters has exceeded one million people. This means that more than 75 percent of county residents are registered to vote. The County Registrar of Voters is celebrating this milestone, but will continuing efforts to help reach the more than 330,000 potential voters in San Bernardino County still not registered to vote. Students who are 16- and 17 years old in San Bernardino County may now pre-register to vote, if they meet all other eligibility requirements, and will be automatically registered to vote on their 18th birthday.
