SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY CASES NOW TOP 20,000; MORONGO BASIN CASES AT 130

San Bernardino County coronavirus cases pushed well past 20,000, according to data released Tuesday (July 14). Cases in the county jumped by 954, or 4.9 percent, the second-largest increase seen.

Here in the Morongo Basin we have had 130 confirmed cases: Yucca Valley with 76; Joshua Tree, 23; Twentynine Palms, 17; Morongo Valley, 13; and Landers with 1.

State statistics show San Bernardino County with its highest number of hospitalized coronavirus-positive patients yet at 616 Monday; the number has doubled in less than a month.
