The Mojave Desert Land Trust inaugurates “Salvage Saturdays” with a sale of treasures mined from its stewardship activities—railroad ties, patinated corrugated metal, mattress springs and other rusty metal stuff, automobile hoods and such, and more. The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, at the new Mojave Desert Land Trust headquarters , 60124 Twentynine Palms Highway, across from Joshua Tree Memorial Park at Olympic.
