While this most recent case of vehicle theft is out of Las Vegas, it is always a good time to remember that thieves are everywhere. Hilary Sloane offers these tips from the Sheriff’s Department to reduce your risk of having your vehicle broken into or stolen…
The Sheriff’s Department reminds residents to lock their vehicles, close the windows, and never leave the keys inside, not even in the glove box or a coin tray. Install a car alarm, tracking system, or an anti-theft system. Anything you can do to make it harder to steal your vehicle will make it a less appealing target for thieves.
