A Yucca Valley woman escaped serious injury when her generator blew up on her and caught her RV on fire early Wednesday morning. Firefighters were called to the vacant field behind the Yucca Valley Home Depot and Walmart stores about 2:30 a.m. for a fire. The woman told responders that the generator for her RV ran out of gas. She said she couldn’t see as she was refilling the generator and she didn’t have a flashlight, so she used a lighter to provide light. The gas ignited and the RV caught on fire. Her hair caught on fire but she declined medical treatment on the scene.
