RUN FOR THE WALL SEND-OFF SET FOR BRIDGE OVER I-10 TOMORROW

Run For The Wall is a cross-country motorcycle ride that has been honoring military veterans for 29 years by riding to the Vietnam Wall in Washington, D.C. every May. Reporter Rebecca Havely has information about how you can support this year’s run…
Run for the Wall started in 1989 as a way to honor military veterans and the thousands of men and women who are still unaccounted for. This year’s Run for the Wall kicks off Wednesday, May 16, when more than 550 motorcycle riders from Southern California will begin their journey to Washington, D.C. The public is invited to send them off at 8 a.m. on the Wall Bridge over Interstate 10 in North Palm Springs. The Wall Bridge is about one mile west of Indian Avenue. Last year, supporters lined the whole bridge end to end. For more information, call Amy at 760-902-3761.
