St. Mary of the Valley Catholic Church will hold its annual rummage, bake, and book sale Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3. Doors open at 7 a.m. both days, until 2 p.m. The rummage sale, featuring household goods, furniture, Christmas items, and more, will be held in the old church and garage; the book and bake sales will be held in the parish hall. The church is located at 7495 Church Street in Yucca Valley.
Desert Congregational Church will also hold a three-day rummage sale starting Friday, October 2. The sale will run 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at the church at the intersection of Two Mile Road and Sunrise Road in Twentynine Palms.
