To enhance the cleanup city-wide, the 29 Palms Rotary Club is sponsoring youth groups, sports teams, and non-profits to go out to areas that need attention and pick up the unwanted trash and other items that are an eyesore and a nuisance in those areas. Rotary President David Smith was enthusiastic about the event, saying, “This is a huge win-win for our city: nonprofits can earn monetary support, neighborhoods that need attention will be improved, and we can all be proud of our cleaner city.”
