Bring your old documents that need shredding to the Tri-Valley Little League big parking lot swap meet, at 56525 Little League Drive in Yucca Valley Saturday, October 24. There will be a big shredding truck on site, sponsored by I-Shred Company. This is a secure shredding company, so you can safely dispose of old taxes, bills, bank statements and other secure documents. Starting at 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. or until the truck is full. The fee is $10 for up to 5 standard-size file boxes and $5 for each additional box. First come, first served. Used books in good shape will also be collected at the event for local charities and youth programs. Half the proceeds will benefit the non-profit Tri-Valley Little League Park, the other half will benefit the Rotary Youth Leadership Program.
