During the same weekend as the Pioneer Pass Challenge, on Saturday September 6, the Rotary Club of Yucca Valley is also presenting a traditional best ball tournament at Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs. The entry fee is $75, and includes 18 holes of golf, prizes, and an awards luncheon. Among the charities that will benefit from the Golf Scramble is Miracle League of the Desert, a baseball league for special-needs children. Again, Debbie Crone or Shelly Licata can supply more info.
