Rock icon Eric Burdon, the 1960s British Invasion vocalist who sang with the Animals, and later the funk band War, is selling his Joshua Tree retreat. Priced at $888,888, the gated Southwestern-style ranch house was built in 2007 and sits on 2.5 acres enclosed by an adobe wall. The grounds are landscaped with native plants. Burdon, 74, was named by Rolling Stone as one of the 100 greatest singers of all time and is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
