ROCK CLIMBER INJURED IN JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK

A rock climber was injured Thursday afternoon when he fell from rocks in Joshua Tree National Park. About 1 p.m. the man was climbing in the Hidden Valley campground area when he fell and broke a leg. Morongo Basin Ambulance transported the victim to a landing zone where he was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
