A lecture tomorrow at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum is about efforts to save Rock Art. Managing Editor Tami Roleff has your invitation…
Petroglyphs and pictographs, or rock art, are affected by weather, the passage of time, natural processes, and, of course, by human causes. Joshua Tree National Park rangers are developing conservation management plans to preserve and protect rock art. Residents are invited to hear about the park’s rock art and preservation plans during a brown bag lunch lecture Thursday, December 15, at Hi-Desert Nature Museum in Yucca Valley, starting at noon. Admission is $5, or free for museum members.
