A Yucca Valley store was robbed Saturday evening. According to a Sheriff’s report, the robber, identified only as a black male, came into a store in the 56100 block of 29 Palms Highway shortly before 6 p.m. The robber covered his face with a black jacket, then demanded the clerk to give him all the money in the register. After getting the money, the robber ran across Highway 62 in a northeasterly direction, toward Mohawk Trail. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
