It’s tough to investigate a robbery when the victim won’t cooperate. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were notified about 12:30 p.m. on Thursday about a man who said he’d been beaten up and robbed at a Fourth of July party somewhere in the area of Walmart in Yucca Valley. The victim had been attacked by three unknown men and knocked unconscious; a woman told him later that while he was unconscious, the men went through his pockets and robbed him of all his money. The report then states that the victim became uncooperative with deputies and refused to call his friends to find out where the party was.
