Caltrans will begin a mill and overlay project on State Route 247 (SR-247) near Lucerne Valley begin Monday, June 21. Work will take place east of Midway Ave to Clark St, and from south on Rabbit Springs Rd to south of Cape Gloucestor Ave. Work on the $5 Million project will take place Mondays through Fridays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Traffic will be controlled with a pilot car escorting traffic through the work area.
