A project to rehabilitate the pavement on State Route 62 from Yucca Valley to Twentynine Palms from Yucca Mesa Road to Bermuda Avenue continues this week with lane closures. The project will grind the existing roadway and replace with new asphalt. Lanes in both directions will be closed from Sun View Avenue to Barranca Street, through Friday, June 14, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. The highway repaving project is expected to be completed in late August 2013.
