The Highway 62 mill and Overlay project continued this week with crews working in Morongo Valley, Twentynine Palms, and Yucca Valley. In Morongo Valley, crews will be performing curb, gutter, and sidewalk work eastbound from Hess Blvd to Valley View Rd. from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and westbound from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. In Twentynine Palms, crews will perform milling and ADA ramp improvements eastbound and westbound from Bermuda Ave to Athol Ave. from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. And in Yucca Valley, crews will be gutting, paving and reconstructing ADA ramps from Camino Del Cielo Trail to Avalon Ave eastbound from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and westbound from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Drivers can stay up-to-date with traffic advisories by using the Caltrans Quickmap, link available below.
