RIVERSIDE WOMAN IN CLIMBING FATALITY IN JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK

A Riverside woman died after a a fall in the Joshua Tree National Park Saturday (March 26). A Park spokesman said Tina Lynn Fiori, 51, died in a fall while climbing in the Sheep Pass Area. Joshua Tree Search and Rescue and Riverside County deputies responded to the incident. Park superintendent David Smith said, “Our hearts go out to Ms. Fiori’s family and friends during this extremely painful time”. The details and cause of the fall are currently unknown. No signs of foul play were present. No further information is available currently.
