An interactive COVID-19 risk assessment tool developed at the Georgia Institute of Technology estimates the risk of having at least one person who is positive with COVID-19 in various group sizes. In San Bernardino County, a group of 10 people has a 34 percent chance of having at least one COVID-19 positive person in the group. The larger the group, the higher the risk. A group of 25 people has a 62 percent chance of a positive COVID-19 person, and a group of 100 people has a 98 percent chance that at least one person will be positive for COVID-19.
