We have limited information about a dirt bike rider was injured Thursday when he was struck by an SUV on Old Woman Springs Road in Yucca Valley. Shortly before 5:30, the unidentified dirt biker rider was crossing Old Woman Springs Road near Sunnyslope when he was hit by a man driving a blue Excursion. The dirt bike rider suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.
