RIBBON CUTTING THIS AFTERNOON AT PARADISE PARK IN YUCCA VALLEY

The Yucca Valley Town Council will hold a ribbon cutting today at Paradise Park. The council authorized an improvement project for the park, which included two lighted basketball courts, a pickle ball court, lighted concrete pathways with benches, and a new shade structure. The town received grants in the amount of $365,360 and spent $75,000 from the town’s general fund. The ribbon cutting will be held at the park at 5 p.m., prior to the town council meeting. Paradise Park is located at the corner of Barron Drive and Indio Avenue.
